Information about the Windows installer

For an easy installation on Windows we provide a package with installer.

Optional components

The installer allows to select the components to install:

• Shortcuts
  This option will create shortcuts for SMPlayer on the desktop.
• Multimedia Engine
  You can select which multimedia engine would be installed: MPlayer or mpv. It's also possible to install both.

• Icon themes
  Some icon themes are provided, which allow to change the look of the application.
• Languages
  Translations for more than 30 languages are provided. If you uncheck this option, only English will be available.
