Others have reported this and similar problems with MPlayer versions after r33488. It appears to be related to the directx driver which, unfortunately, is the only one that works on some systems. The good news is .. it 'may' be fixed in r34840. Anxious to test and see...

Aspect ratio change doesn't work

Cycling through the aspect ratios no longer works with MPlayer versions after r33488. The 'size' of the image changes but not the aspect ratio. Can this be confirmed? Using RTM with smplayer on WinXP-sp1. r33488 works perfectly.
